The Value Chain Group’s Business Process Transformation Framework provides a robust Library of reference dictionaries and methods that are tested and proven for the extended enterprise value chain. The standard framework promotes consensus and helps drive continuous improvement in processes. Here a our rationale for the BPTF.
The integrated process framework guides modeling, design, and measurement of business performance by uniquely encompassing the plan, govern and execute requirements for the design, product, and customer aspects of business. We believe in a consensus-driven and non-proprietary, open source standard. We encourage our constituents and partners to provide a diversity of ideas as we share Value Chain perspectives, strategies and best practices.
The VCG now offers access to the Value Chain ICIM Architect which was specifically designed to contain the VCG models in a configurable framework. The Architect supports the Integrated Continuous Improvement Methodology.Contact Executive Director Scott Palmer to discuss details.
VRM - Value Reference Model
An analytical model that establishes a classification scheme for business processes using a hierarchy of levels and relationships through inputs and outputs. It establishes a contextual relationship with best practices and metrics to help classify an Enterprise's most critical processes. The VCG's Model Library contains the VRM and other supporting documentation.
XRM - Extensible Reference Model
XRM's are typically company or industry-specific reference models that are decomposed from VRM to provide context at the activity level of an enterprise. By establishing domain-based views of the enterprise, the XRM enables industry-specific process analysis and execution. The VCG's Model Library contains XRM's for Product Development, Supply Chain and Customer Relations.
VLM - Value Lifecycle Model
A model for deliverable based development, VLM directly reconciles deliverables and gate exit criteria with the task required to produce deliverables across all activities and phases of development. The VCG's Model Library contains the VLM and other supporting documentation.
ICIM - Integrated Continuous Improvement Methodology
An integrated methodology embedded within the VCG Framework. Its goal is to link a knowledge reference architecture with a consistent vocabulary for configuring specific business process improvement efforts. The VCG's Model Library contains the ICIM and other supporting documentation.
SOA-IM - Service Oriented Architecture Information Model
Provides support for the SOA collaboration semantics. The SOA-IM is used to manage both business context and business content. SOA-IM defines all interfaces with methods and functions required for the collaboration data manipulations and interactions between SOA architectural components.

Well, this is a website that i've been search for so long :)
Yes, we are able to provide you with the database containing the model dictionaries and with the tools to be able to configure value chains. Look at the Path Finder Program.
